Austrian State Prize for Environmental and Energy Technology 2007

The state prizes for environmental and energy technology were presented on 31 January 2008 at envietech, the International Congress for Environmental Technology and Renewable Energy, in Vienna.

Heliotherm was among those nominated for its forward-looking products.

The “heat pump” nominations in detail:

Heliotherm and M-TEC Mittermayr’s fully modulating highly efficient heat pump system with CO2 ground probe was nominated. This is already used successfully throughout Europe and is patented. The fully modulating heat pump achieves maximum efficiency, with a sensational coefficient of performance (COP) of 6.5, as measured by arsenal research.
