 Austrian company Heliotherm was represented again this year at the exhibition on energy efficiency in Wels in March 2008
Austria’s largest trade fair for energy efficiency – Energiesparmesse 2008 – was held in Wels between 5 and 9 March 2008. This year saw two professional visitors’ days (Wednesday and Thursday) for the first time and a superb 30% increase in visitor numbers. Around 100,000 property developers and renovators came to see the fair’s energy efficiency highlights presented by 1,600 exhibitors between 7 and 9 March 2008. As in past years, Tyrol-based Heliotherm was among the exhibitors – along with its expert partner from Upper Austria, M-TEC Mittermayr. The company reiterated the importance of protecting the climate and reducing CO2. Heliotherm’s heat pump attracted immense interest and the company held numerous discussions with prospective customers. A short information evening was also organised for Heliotherm’s expert partners. Dominik Mittermayr (M-TEC): “The Energiesparmesse remains our most important trade fair platform. We’re expecting to see further increases in the market for heat pumps – our visit to Wels has shown us that much.
